Feb 25, 2018 · I'm with AT&T I have the fastes speed they say they can give me and my upload speed is0.45 0.63 0.24 and so on my ring doorbell says it only works with at least 1 or more upload speeds why should I be paying for somthing I'm not getting.Ther reply is that is all they can do for me.

Thank you for your response, @Lusil!I would like to update you that I tried using a VPN, and my Dropbox upload speed is back to normal. I suspect that my ISP might be throttling Dropbox traffic because my friend using the same ISP was also experiencing extremely slow service with Dropbox and also got their Dropbox upload speed back to normal when they turned on their VPN. I starting noticing a week ago that my upload speeds were very slow (50-100 Mbps), but download are holding strong in the 500-900 Mbps range.. I've tried a few different ways to troubleshoot, but can't seem to resolve the problem. Any other thoughts? Speed to the router as per Verizon is good. Aug 15, 2018 · A twenty Mbps download speed will likely have less than 5 Mbps for upload. However, a new standard for transmitting data over cables, DOCSIS 3.1, could make cable a lot faster. Essentially, 3.1 improves on 3.0 by taking the current channel widths of six or three Mhz, making them smaller, and combining them all into a much bigger spectrum.
